Join me on my next Live Zoom Tutorial on Sunday 18th April at 10.30am . It covers everything you need to know as a complete beginner and covers much of what I teach on my half day hands on workshop. You will be on your way to making that first batch before you know it. I also teach intermediate classes on more unusual soaps such as milk and salt soap.
What a great course, Keri is very knowledgeable and patient! confident to make my own after one lesson ... be back for more though just because I enjoyed it so much
In Person Workshop
Excellent customer service from my initial email enquiry to the prompt inbox delivery of my on line tutorial.
The course content is very informative and delivered in a manner which is both clear and concise. Keri achieved the right balance for me between entertaining and educating. Keri's openness, willingness and honesty to share her knowledge that she has gained over time, is very evident in her emails and on line posts. Thank you Keri.
This ebook by Keri is an excellent guide for beginners, and a very useful reference work for more experienced soapers. This is the updated version (2020) of the first 'edition', and contains even more useful information.
It covers everything you need to know about how to make your first batch of soap safely and successfully. I go back to it time and time again to refresh my memory about technique, and more times than I can count for hints and tips on essential oil combinations. (I have it printed out and put in a binder to make it easier to refer to!)
I did the dog soap online tutorial and it's a brilliant course. I'm feeling brave enough to try making my own dog soap now. Kerri gives lots of info and tips and is always willing to answer questions. Highly recommend
An excellent day with Keri on Wednesday, very informative, and very well presented, good handouts to remind exactly how everything was done, brought home plenty of soap, the scent hits me as soon as I open the door, thank you for a great day Keri.
For anyone struggling with any niggles or questions about anything concerning soap making, I wholly recommend a 'Power Hour' with Keri. All my concerns were answered as well as suggestions for a way forward. Keri discussed the process of CPSR and was really helpful in explaining what was involved. To speak in person is a valuable experience and I can't recommend it enough.
Hello and welcome. My name is Keri and I am the face behind The Soap Coach. I am also the founder and owner of The Dog and I and creator of award winning soap for dogs.
I LOVE soap and I am completely obsessed with it and I really want you to be too! Soap has had a bit of a bad press in the 80s, 90s and 00's, associated with lumps of sogginess sat in a pool of slime on the side of the sink but modern soap recipes are nothing like that and handmade soap is a truly beautiful, luxury product that anybody can make. Yes even you! I would love to join you on your soap making journey and I can make it easy for you. Lets ditch the plastic and bring back soap!
Does it matter what olive oil I use in soap making?
What does olive oil do in soap?
What is it like to have a soap making/teaching business?
Do you make soap all day?
It must be fun to make soap for a living?
What is salt soap and why is it beneficial?
Salt makes a beautiful bar of soap which is often marketed as a spa bar but why would you use salt in your handmade soap?
If you have a question about any of my courses or need some more information please do get in touch. I will get back to you as soon as I can to help you on your quest to become a soap making legend.
