Pick My Brains Session

This is a online Zoom session for soap and skincare makers who want practical guidance on their business.

During the call we look at your business as a whole and identify what is really holding things back. That might be your pricing, product range, sales channels, lack of repeat customers or simply not knowing where to focus your energy.

These calls are not coaching sessions where we talk in circles. They are down to earth conversations based on real experience of running and mentoring handmade soap and skincare businesses.

By the end of the call you should leave with a much clearer understanding of what is going on in your business and what to focus on next.

Once you book your session you can then access my calendar via the link above and book your session - if there is enough time before our call I will drop you an email with a few questions so I can get a feel for what you are looking to get out of our call.

We then meet on Zoom for a conversation where we look at your current situation and talk through whatever is most useful for you.

That might include reviewing your product range, pricing, sales channels, plans for stockists, your website or the direction you want your business to take.

After the call you should leave with a clear set of next steps to focus on.

If you have lots of questions please do bring them along - I will do my best to cover as much as I can in our time.

These calls are ideal for soap and skincare makers who want honest, practical guidance on their business.

What can we talk about during the call?

Anything related to running and growing your soap or skincare business. This might include pricing, product ranges, selling at markets, approaching stockists, improving your website, planning the next stage of your business, working out what is holding you back or where to focus on next.

Do I need to prepare anything?

Once you book you will receive a short questionnaire which helps me understand your business before the call. This allows us to make the best use of the hour.

Will you tell me exactly what to do?

I will share honest advice based on my experience working with many soap and skincare businesses. My aim is to help you understand your situation clearly and leave the call with practical next steps.

Is this suitable for beginners?

Yes. Many people use these calls when they are thinking about turning their hobby into a business and want to understand what that might look like. It is not for talking about how to comply with all the legislation, that is a huge topic and one that my stand alone Business Boot Camp Course covers.

Do you work with businesses outside the UK?

No. My advice and support is specifically for UK soap and skincare businesses.
