Fancy learning a great, practical new skill? Learn to make natural, artisan soap with The Soap Coach.
Fun, friendly and welcoming half day course where you will make soap held in my dedicated workshop at 33 Great Cranford Street, Poundbury, Dorchester, Dorset DT1 3SQ ( If you cannot make it to Dorset check out the online options)
You will be welcomed with a tea, coffee and of course, cake is included during your class.
You will learn the science behind the soap and how to use it. Information about the different kinds of butter and oils you will be using and how they affect your finished soap. How to use sodium hydroxide safely and what equipment you need.
An insight into using essential oils in your soaps and advice about how to create your own blends.
An introduction to using natural ingredients such as clays to colour your soap.
Every participant will receive a comprehensive workbook covering everything you need to have the confidence to continue your soap making skills at home.
You will watch a demo of how to make your cold process soap and then make a 1kg batch of your own palm oil-free soap using a selection of essential oils and botanicals of your choice. I will be on hand throughout out to offer advice and guidance.
You will take home all the soap you have make on the day.

New dates will be released as confirmed dates fill up. If you are having trouble booking on a course it will be due to the course being either booked up or there are not enough spaces left for your requirements.
